Your job is curation and delivery, not creation.

That low barrier is also the trap: because anyone can do it, the format lives or dies on narration quality and pacing. The visual is usually just looping gameplay (Minecraft parkour, Subway Surfers, Geometry Dash) or satisfying clips, so the voice carries 90% of the experience. A flat, robotic read makes a viral-worthy thread unwatchable; a natural, well-paced voice makes a mediocre thread binge-worthy.

CPMs sit in the modest $2–$6 range, but volume compensates: these videos are cheap and fast to produce, so successful channels post daily — sometimes multiple times a day. The combination of evergreen source material, near-zero production cost, and high upload frequency is why Reddit-story channels can scale faster than almost any other niche.

Always lightly edit for clarity and to remove usernames and identifying details — both for privacy and because YouTube and Reddit content policies expect it. Read the post as a script, not a transcript: trimming filler and fixing pacing is what separates a 200-view channel from a 2-million-view one.

The faceless Reddit-story pipeline is one of the simplest on YouTube:

• r/pettyrevenge & r/maliciouscompliance — A slightly dry, knowing delivery (Harry's comedic timing, or Roger for longer builds) that lets the payoff land.
• r/nosleep & creepy confessions — A darker, grippier voice (Callum) plus light ambient sound turns the thread into genuine audio horror.

Pick one or two signature voices and stay consistent — regular viewers associate your narrator with the channel, which builds the same kind of loyalty a real host would. Always test your shortlist on an actual thread before committing; the right choice depends on your editing rhythm and audience.
